HTOWN Dream Center – We provide safe, private housing, If you are in a crisis situation, our dedicated team stands by to assist you with safety planning, emotional support, emergency services and immediate housing if necessary.

Angel Reach

The Angel Reach Transitional Living Program (TLP) is a comprehensive and impactful initiative aimed at providing essential support and guidance to youth transitioning out of foster care and/or facing homelessness, aged 16-24.

The Hay Center

The Hay Center – is a one-stop center providing services for current foster youth and youth formerly in foster care ages 14-25 transitioning to adulthood in the Houston community.

Upbring BeREAL Houston

BeREAL Austin, BeREAL San Antonio, BeREAL San Marcos and BeREAL Houston are Supervised Independent Living programs designed to help the more than 1,300 young adults aging out of foster care in Central Texas every year. Through these programs we help individuals become self-sufficient members of the community, and ultimately break the generational cycle of abuse.

Texas Foster Youth Justice Project

The Texas Foster Youth Justice Project helps current and former foster youth in Texas. We help foster youth understand their legal rights. We provide legal advice, assistance, guidance and representation in enforcing foster youth rights. We also educate the general public about the legal needs and concerns of foster youth.

PAL Program

The Preparation for Adult Living (PAL) program was implemented in 1986 to ensure that older youth in substitute care are prepared for their inevitable departure from the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services’ care and support. PAL program staff strive to provide each of these youth with skills and resources they will need to be healthy, productive adults.

Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP)

The goal of the YHDP is to support The Way Home in the development and implementation of a plan to prevent and end youth homelessness. A Youth Action Board (YAB) — made up of youth & young adults with lived experience of homelessness — provides strategic direction and oversight to the activities connected to the YHDP.

Grace Place

Every Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday at 6:00 pm, Grace Place opens its doors to youth experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity of all sexualities and genders between the ages of 13 and 24 years old. Youth Night is an evening of food, mentorship, skills building, and access to direct resources with interactive volunteers and staff in a supportive, affirming space that allows youth to be who they are.

Buckner NextStep

NextStep provides services to young women ages 18 to 24 who have been referred to the program by the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (TDFPS) or other partner organizations. Participants must be pursuing an educational goal, working or both. Services will be provided on the Buckner Children and Family Services campus in Dallas in a residential setting.

Hope’s Path

Hope’s Path is a residential internship program that helps aged-out foster youth find their identity. Males Only.

Gracewood

Gracewood’s residential program provides moms with children the help needed to eventually live on their own. The program offers counseling, job training, positive parenting techniques, and other life-skills training needed for successful independent living.
